Bio
Emma Ackerman holds a B.A. from Gettysburg College, where she double majored in English and Theatre Arts with a minor in Classical Studies, and an M.A. in Performance from the University of Chichester. She’s spent the last 15 years working at Touchstone Theatre, a small professional ensemble theatre in Bethlehem, PA, where she’s enjoyed extensive hands-on involvement in production, including stage management, production management, design, and performance. During the pandemic, her work expanded to include video editing, digital art, and animation. She loves working in the arts education classroom with her crazy students, where she’s been sharing a love of self-expression through the creation of original art since 2010.

I’m an enormous nerd.
I have two cats.

I like trying to put the undefinable into words, even though it’s a fundamentally flawed effort.
